    Question Smart Card Software?

    Sorry to post this in GD but I need all the help I can get.

    I have a couple of SmartCards here, and a reader on my laptop, but no software to actually read the data on the cards.

    Can someone point me in the right direction for software that will let me view / edit the details on the cards?

    As in new style credit card kind of cards?

    Magswipe ?

    If it's a wedge type reader (sits inbetween the keyboard and pc) it'll output the card datat directly into the keyboard stream.

    Ie, swipe and type, otherwise most are read like dumb serial devices.

    Can't vouch for this at all as I've not played with smart cards (worked a little with reprogramming swipe cards in my previous job, that's fairly trivial by comparison though), but I found this on Google:
