great picture seems very much intact
if you look closely at the cockpit front top edge, there is a white square patch on it.
Now i bet you, that is a Parking ticket from a over excuberant traffic warden, if it is.. respect !!

I feel so cheated, I expected them to lift the rotting bones of Theseus or Perseus or something, not some silly plane
I read it slightly different from that, even. I read "fighter" to mean a fighter plane, but for some reason I read "Greek" as "Ancient Greek". I sat there for about 10 seconds wondering whether I was being stupid or if Ancient Greece had fighter planes and eventually clicked on the thread just to sate my curiosity.
