lol, he did this live I think (my family went to see it) and he made the point that none of it was supernatural, its all in the mind, he admits this himself!

My mum's done it and talked to her dead mother. This was done in Durham and my Grandmother lived and died in Scarborough. The things her mother was saying through this other person was scary and things no one could have known.

An example of one of the things she was told is that the guy from the japanese war camp had died. My mum had no idea what this meant or who it was. She later phoned up her brother and he got the shock of his life. He told my mum that there was a bloke in Scarborough who had been in a japanese prisoner of war camp who use to talk to my Grandma before she died and that bloke had died this week.

Coincidence? I think not, however it shouldn't be used to entertain people on TV

Yes, im serious. Its just one of the reasons I believe in God, and souls, and spirits, and black magic.

I saw derren brown live in Portsmouth a few weeks back. He did a seance, got 2 people from the audience and have a glass upside down. It selected letters, they made up someone's name, i cant remember, and then "thirteenth row" or something along those lines. Anyway it turned out this girl, in teh 13 row knew the person who had died....not sure how much sense that makes to people who didnt see him.

It was very impressive, still didnt make me "believe" though.

This will probably hyped up tv and everyone will be expecting some sort of trickery from him, tho it is a serious subject to play around with.
i did't believe in fortune tellers/contacting the dead sort of thing till a few months ago
i went to see a spiritualist (my wife was supposed to go but had to pull out at the last minute) and he scared me with a few things he told me
now i never spoke or had to answer any questions
first thing he said to me was it was someone who could be my twin had come to see me ,then he told me it was my Dad !!
how did he know my Dad was dead-could've guessed
after blabbering on about my Dad for a minute he then said that
my Dad wanted to say sorry and beg my forgiveness for
A,never telling me he loved me - this is true as he never
b,for all the beatings etc.. he had given me....but here's the spooky bit
especially the hiding with the hosepipe and the toilet window
now how did he know that my Dad had given me a hell of a beating with a hosepipe? I didn't have a clue about the toilet window thing but my Mam said that one night he had forgot his
keys and tried to wake me up to let him in but he couldn't wake me,he broke the toilet window fell through it trying to get in,he cut himself and stuff then came upstairs were he beat me while i was asleep-so if i couldn't remember it,how did he know?
other little things like my wife told me to write a book about my life and he said i had to write the book !!!
he also told me to get my digestive system checked out as thats why i'm having trouble eating.ive since been to the docs to get it checked and found this is true, i've had alot of trouble eating and have lost over 4 stone since october,my doc has now reffered me to hospital about this ?
the last thing he said was "right you may ask me one question,think hard as it's only one", i started to think and i thought of one he then asked if i had then he said"no need to ask, don't worry your'e not going to die young like your other bloke relations as you dont have have the same ailments as them,you take after your mothers side"
now my question was going to be what do i have to do to stop me from dying young like my Dad ??!!! honestly
also my Mam's Dad was deaf,myMams deaf,i'm deaf -so do i take after my mothers side ?
what had me worried for some time was my Dad had his first heart attack aged 35 i'm 35 in july and people say i'm the double of him-he died aged 49 after several more heart attacks
so after this long thread which i swear is true
i sort of believe in them or i want to just need to see one not just hear from one through another person
