Hi all,
I don't seem to be able to set an avatar in my profile.
I go to the user CP, select avatar options, and I see "no avatar selected" and a radio option to select "Do not user an Avatar"
Your Current AvatarNo Avatar Specified Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.
How can I set an avatar.

500 posts for an avatar I think.
You need to have 100 posts (or maybe more? Can't remember now) in order to get an Avatar. Bit more posting required!

You need 500 posts for an avatar and I know this because I just got one. So keep posting

When the forums where redone after the hack there was a period where you could get an avatar after 100 or so posts. Was so that old members could get their avatars back quickly. Limits been put back up to 500 now. I think thats right anyhow
Yep, that was it.
After Hexus was hacked, the post count for an avatar was set low so that everyone who had earned one pre-hack could rapidly get it back. It was left low for a while to try and minimise people spamming to get their avatar back and was then set back up to the usual.

We've probably had 200 posts in threads on "how many posts do you need for an avatar" alone!
Seems to be sorted now
