    Definitely hardcore..

    I've seen some one riding around the forest of dean with one leg - but as long as yo've got SPDs it's pretty understandable how you're going to get around.

    But one arm.

    Hats off to him.

    Reminds me of when I was skiing and there was a young girl who had lost both her arms. All she needed was help with the drag lift and she was away. Better skier than most others up there too. Also saw and older bloke when I was in Germany. He had one leg but had 2 small skis on the foot of his ski poles. I guess these people decided life wasn't over cuz they had lost limbs. Being fit and active I can't concieve of the loss of a limb I think it would screw me up. Gotta give someone respect for that amount of mental strength.

    i used to go climbing at an indoor wall in nelson (about 30 miles west of cardiff) there was a bloke who was a regular there, who was tbh a better climber than me, with a prosthetic leg from the knee down - kudos to him & those like him for sticking with his sport despite what many would see as insurmountable odds
    if it ain't broke...fix it till it is

    Disabled skiing - now that's FUN.

    I had a go in a sitski when I was in the states;

    Best fun I've had on snow so far!! It was my cousin's (she brought it to teach disabled kids to ski) but she was too scared in case I broke it - so she wouldn't let me off the "leash" - in the end we probably risked it the most when she slipped and dropped me off the chair lift (I was strapped into the thing testing to see how easy it was to get on and off the lifts) luckily it was only a few metres up; but you should have seen the faces as everybody thought a ski instructor was pushing a disabled person off the chairs

    Here's one in action;
