i just come back from a party and i lost my phone i canceled insurance on it about a month ago if i sign back up today and call in a couple of days saying ive lost my phone whille they still replace?

Firstly, please put some effort into typing your posts and people may be more inclined to respond helpfully as the post is easier to read.

Secondly, I doubt you'll find anyone here willing to assist you with insurance fraud.

Ask them. Same thing happened to my daughter and Iirc they replaced it provided the back premiums were paid.

However signing up and the claiming that you lost it after taking out the insurance would be fraud and could leave you open to criminal prosecution, as well as making any future insurance such as car insurance difficult to obtain.

But I'm sure that wasn't what you were suggesting!

bear in mind for any claim you need a police report etc - it's not just a case of lying to the insurance company - I think I'd find other ways of saving the 200 or so notes you may have lost.

I hope that wasn't what the OP had in mind... But I'd certainly agree that £200 is a trivial sum set against the consequences of misrepresenting an insurance claim.

Check house insurance etc, some of them cover items like this! Be wary about going down that route though, it is technically fraud!
