    Been a bit absent, sorry!

Am looking to do one at a place called North London Parachute Centre Ltd in a few months time, perhaps the end of summer. I really, really wanna do the Accelerated Free Fall Course from 13,000ft but at £400 per person I'd have to raise £800 to get it free!

Probably gonna do the 3,500ft Square Parachute Static Line jump instead. Anyone who wants to join in, I'll let you know more near the time when I'm thinking of doing it and you're more than welcome to watch/participate!

My proceeds will go to either Mencap or Cancer Research. They hit nearly everybody lives, directly or not, in some way or another.

Yay! Thats where I went Static line from 2000 feet in a parachute like this...

North London Parachute Centre is in March in Cambridgeshire isn't it? Very good place to go, very flat, no pilons, very few roads. We had such a good time.... gives me butterflies just thinking about it!!! Hehe!!!!

    Waiting to go....

    Boarding the plane....

Woohoo!!! (this is not a very good jump... I should have been looking up to check my canopy was going to open!! )

Have fun... it will be ACE!

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

My first went something like this

    One One Thousand....Two Two Thous....Shhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeettttt....Sh*t....Sh*t....Sh*t....Sh*t....Sh*t....Sh*t....Sh*t....Sh* t....Sh*t....Sh*t....Sh*t....

Until the guy on the other end of the two way got a little fed up and told me to shut up.

They said my form was excellent, but didn't give me a pass jump 'cause I didn't count properly...

If it's any consolation ibm my first one out of a balloon cage went something similar......1000, 2000, f'kinnneeelllllllllllll............

It was mentioned at ground level

A few years later we had a balloon program and the new OC Squadron was there for his first jumps since passing the course. Never heard a compulsory count done so fast....his lines were still deploying and the final tie hadn't snapped before he'd done. 700 ft below we could hear it all clearly. Much to our amusement.
