Yep, I don't rate Heskey as a player at all...I hope his move to Birmingham will highlight this and Sven finally see's that playing Rooney/Owen/Vassel or Smith all the time is the ONLY option.
As for that challenge last night to give away the free-kick...pure schoolboy error. Both teams i am sure would have been warned about giving away cheap kicks around the penalty box due to the quality of the people who cans trike the ball.

I was telling my g/f this all night. Heskey was crap before he moved to blues but since he joined there he is now officiall crap in my books.
Why is Heskey crap? He is not an out an out striker, he is a player that other strikers love to play off.
He's VERY strong, he holds the ball up well, he lays on passes for OTHER people to score.
His job wasnt to score when he came on last night, it was to hold the ball up and try to lay Vassell in to score, which he very nearly did.
Yes, he made a criminal challenge, but he's not a defender, he is a striker.
He is not THE best, but he is certainly better than a lot of other English strikers.
strong??? my mate counted him fall over six times in the first 5 minutes of him being on! Rooney is a far stronger player, and was the only one that looked like he was trying in my opinion, why he was brought off ill never know. He is a really poor player in my opinion and i hope that is his last appearance for england.
