Thats like buying a dishwasher and washing up in a bowl pointless and it wouldent hurt them to fly to the moon then of corse if they dident fly to the moon that opens up a hole load of ethical questions like is the moon real or are we all some sort of goverment experiment (To much matrix but its posible)

Nope, its not like that at all. To land ln the moon is considerably diferent to putting a satellite in orbit. Up there, they have to manage to break completely free of the earth so that they get close enough to the moon to be attracted to it, and there is not atmosphere on the moon, so they are totally exposed to solar radiation. I think they did it, because to be honest not believing would be pointless

Well actualy there is gravitational pull on the moon which would cause them to sling shot round it caousing tem to build up speed and comeing back to earth

u've been watching too much bloody Armageddon or something.

Also another point i didnt mention before is that it's pretty sure that Nasa didn't have the technological capability to build a module capable of landing on the moon, hence why they had to fake it....

Well, this is all well and good, but do you all believe that the moon landings where falsified? Or, that they doctored the actual recordings? Or do you think that Area 51 is an active space-landing zone for alien craft/ones that we have built?

Its all well and good, but its all just bs!

The shuttle is used to place satellites up in space, it is an orbiting craft. It is not designed to land anywhere but on a nice long landing strip on earth. Yes you can sling shot around the moon, but you must get to it first. Its gravity is not sufficent to pull the space craft out of orbit towards it. Hence, it is tricky to do, and needs lots of power.

I dont give a monkeys whether the moon landings were false or not. I have chosen to believe that the landings were true, but i dont car, its a nice story.

When they were putting in the flag they were twisting it to help drive it in further. Due to the lack of an atmosphere on the moon, there wasnt any resistance to stop the flag waving once it had been started by the twisting.
