I've never had problems with ripping (due to the piercing), either. I have found some condoms more comfortable than others, though. Mates tend to be seriously tight all over the penis (made mine go purple!), and slightly too tight over the piercing. Durex, however, fit nicely and have plenty of room around the tip for the ring.

You can buy condoms specifically designed for pierced peckers, iirc. I cannae remember the name, though.

    Re: Blub

I'd have guess that he pierced it at about 2mm.. that's the thinnest you can do it without getting the cheesewire effect. You'll probably find anything about 3mm alot more comfortable, for some reason. It's nice to have a bit of weight hanging in there.

Depending on the size of the glans, the part that is pierced is probably around the thickness of the skin between your thumb and first finger - the hand web. Stretch out the skin, and squeeze together the stretched skin, and that's about it. Poor English, apologies.

There isn't that much flesh to go through, but it is incredibly tough/dense/fibrous.

The piercing itself was the most painful part for me.. it took around 10 seconds of pushing for the piercist to get the needle all the way through. I didn't have any problems with my urethra, for reasons I shan't mention.

Sybrows, I can say so far that it is not a myth but I have to get used to it I think turning upside down does seem to be a good idea. Am only living with this thing a few days so far.

I had a mate who got his nipple done and then caught it on his towel bath robe and tore half his nipple off.

At that point I think I decided just having the ear done was enough for me. Fair play to you guys for getting it done but the thought of it catching just once on something scares me far too much.

T'isn't a myth at all! I prefer to sit down, but if I fancy engaging in the social activity that is "talking whilst peeing", I'll turn it upside down and the urine only comes out of the meatus.

Before I discovered the art of turning it upside down, I once had to go pee during a rather hefty drinking session. Forgetting the spray potential of my piercing, I ended up with quite a large pee-stain on my trousers. I'm not talking a few sprinkles around the zipper... I mean a good half leg being covered. Luckily, it was a dark club.. and everyone was very... very... drunk.

Going around a door can catch the nipples alright and damn it brings tears to your eyes, luckily nothing has been ripped or torn yet, the vertical bar in my right nipple doesn't get caught at all but the ring does in my other.
Have only caught it in doors twice or three times, I learned fast enough I tell ya.
