    Healthy Hexus Ladies

seeing as Women's Henley Regatta starting tomorrow, for which I have a four and a single entered that I've been coaching for the past 2 months, just wondering what the ladies around here do for their exercise...daily, weekly? monthly? Annualy?!!! never!!
    hardened athletes or couch potatoes?...

[and I'm not just talking about bedroom athetics either, before any one comes up with that witty remark.]

Was going to mention what you said in your last sentence

I have a hectic job with lots of stairs. That usually does for me. But walking, swimming and cycling are fun too. Don't do them as regular as I should though. Just when I need that extra boost!

I get my exercise from walking back and forth to the fridge....as that is where the chocolate is kept...

How'd your girls go on today? I had some friends in the Intermediate Eights rowing for Vesta who failed to qualify by one place, and my ex will be in the middle of a pretty flying Thames four as well.

I don't do a lot... I used to, before I damaged my back etc.

Don't do much right now, as i'm working most of the time and live alone. but once I'm back at uni, i'll get back into walking up hills, horse riding, Cheerleading and swimming.

Just don't have the time / motivation at the moment.

I used to do lots of exercise and was very fit once...

However, getting older and having a busy lifestyle tends to mean there isnt time to do the things Id like to do - which is why I get my exercise from doing 6hr shifts at the restaurant. Ive lost half a stone since working there!!! And boy did my legs ache for the first two weeks of traipsing back and forth to the kitchen with plates full of food!

However, if I had the time and money I would get back into Horse Riding in a heartbeat.

Daily or weekly I would say *a bit proud of myself* I've been working out for a quite long time now. I swim, run and make some box&kick at home .

just a little update on how things went at womens henley, the crew I was coaching won! so that was all good
unfortunately the single sculler I was coaching didnt but after a quick chat I'm sure she'll only improve with the eperience she's gained this year.

been a fairly good season for me even though I wasn't doing any of the rowing myself this time round!

Nice one. I had friends in an inter Thames 4+ that made the third round and also the Vesta 8 that won seniors. Are you off to Henley proper? Likewise I'm not rowing at all this year but I've got tickets for Stewards' on Thursday.

yeah, vesta were doing well this year - didn't they make the final, or even win, a fours event?
will probably pop along saturday, have UL bbq in the evening - always nice that. might go along friday but trains etc. always cramped and horrible on the way there and back again - and parking is a joke at £10 a pop [unless you park up the road past Henley RC on the verge ] plan is to go saturday and stay over at g/f dad's who isn't too far from marlow...and hopefully our guys will have got through that far!
