AMD 64
Nvidia new chipset cards
shuttle
aero cool
ailen ware stand which also rocked
and a 2000 player lan
and all the world championship tournys going on

if there's enough intrest ill make a thread with the pics
that i took.
i also did an avi of the doom 3 multiplayer booth

Doom3 - trust I have something secret happening
A64, well I wont tell you what I am picking up this week
NVIDIA - Already played with them
Shuttle - I have the complete roadmap and to be honest most of it sucks
AeroCool - uhm ok
Alienware stuff looks pretty but performance sucks
Lan - sounds cool!

well as you weren't there how would you know?
I had one of the best times of my life, beer beer and more beer, great fun games of CS (its not CPL we made them a laff!), awesome BBQ's ,pubs and just the best of times with some great old mates and loads of new ones.

here are some of the highlights of the "sux" event

and the crazed look in my eyes is due to 4 hours sleep and about 60 pints of beer over the entire weekend.

first of all it was my opion.......
second i didnt take my acusation of it sucks from that event

i use to attend multiplay back in the days when they were at the county ground in swindon I-2 I-3 I-4 I-5
then i think it was I-6 when they went to Newbury..
and the price went right up i attended a few they were fine
then they started maken them even bigger,and thats when the
problems accured,like

85 to 130 pings in almost all games
people placed in the fire exites to play
cramed on to a table with very little space on either side,
and very difficult to move ya chair back coz of the table behind.
very little ventelation "basicly it stunk of B,O"
and also very little help from staff all for £70

now i dont know about anyone else,but to me that Sux

and still for the last few I-series its still be bad from what ive been told.

like i said my opion of multiplay

Sorry to split hairs but i5 was at newbury that was the first one I went to

and your opnion would be valid if it was a current one, as your last experience was years ago, its like saying all skodas are pants coz the one you drove when you were 17 was pony.....

Pings are sorted totally, we were hosting our own servers and used mpulitplays 32 players ones and pings were always sub 20. Space was pucka and I even had so much room I built beer &pizza towers.

Personal hygene is always a problem and yes there was a "whiff" in the air, but no worse than I've smelt on a tube etc..

not flaming you because an opinion can never ever be wrong, merely pointing out the event has evolved and I for one back it wholeheartedly

yep ya right m8 it was

i knew it was 5 or 6 couldnt remeber which one it was.
i was one of the oldskool i series atendees back in 1998 ("i think it so long ago") and i REALY enjoyed them,dont get me wrong i get on with wizo, i just havent had as much fun since the ones after I-9 and anything after that i just didnt enjoy and my finale step for them was the big 1000 player they did which was just
pathetic.I havent returnd since after still hearing bad coments
about the recent ones

but i may give it another go if what you say is true
