Not a fan of Nolan that much - his ideas are fine , just hate his style and execution and Bale has 0 on Keaton .

Ledger was overrated too IMO I didnt find him scary or anything like the Joker - Nicholson nailed it fat better though I admit it was more theatrical I still liked it.

Dont get me started on batmobile etc

If you want scary Bobs yer uncle Eagle scout..

I dont see Nicholson as the Joker, I see him as "Johnny"..

I think what Heath brought to the Joker was a much better and darker Joker, which is more what it was meant to be than some stupid guy in a bloody clown suit, problem is quite a lot of people talk more about it because he died than because he played a good part..

Keaton wasn't a great Batman... I hate Bales "forty Marlboro a day" Batman voice but at least he plays a good Bruce Wayne.. and Nicholson apart from one sequence in the art gallery... He pretty much just played Nicholson in a clown suit.

Ledger certainly recieved more attention for the role because of his death but his portrayal of the Jokers chaotic nature and almost co-dependent relationship with Bats out classes Nicholsons performance and is much more in line with the nature of the character in the comic books in my opinion.

I've only seen the trailer and the ten minute prologue for TDKR but I trust Nolan to deliver to be honest. Bane looks fantastic and not to spoil anything but if the practical action sequences are all up to the standard I've seen already it's going to make for quite a spectacle on IMAX!

I'd have said more Darth Vader than Vader myself, although maybe that's more down to the way he sounds inside that mask

At any rate, Bane at least looks a more menacing physical danger to Batman than he ever did under Joel Schumachers supervision

for shoo , I only liked Burtons 1st film , but I liked it in part because of the amazing set design and props ( like batmobile ) done by the long deceased Anton Hurst ( sp ? ) which puts Nolans gotham to shame.

The film also had a lot more comedy ( maybe not dark enough ) but remember it was really a kiddies film - not like Nolans and Nicholson was a good fit as was Keaton from that POV.

What id like to see is darker version of that , not an attempt to make it realistic and steal all the elements that make characters like Joker pop out .

It doesnt have to be realistic just be believable within its own universe ie, success of stars wars compared to the clone crap.

I think that one was a tricky one, but not uncommon, there are quite a lot of films that have titles containing the name of the main character, but they do usually have a bit more, like the Indiana Jones films.

In the John Carter trailer I just find the blue blood amusing - reminds me of the people in Avatar!

Snow white trailer looks good & Machine Gun Preacher looks interesting, but everytime i see Gerard Butler, I just hear

    "THIS IS SPARTA!"

    again and again!

Anyway, "Man on the train" - not a great title, but looks interesting = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxDnqICw_xY

Elvis never made the 27 Club though.

If it was already a well known character it would be ok i.e. batman , Superman ...

I just find it bit of an ego trip, that I dont think bodes well for the rest of the film when they do it for a new / unproven character with no prior history .

Behemoth looks so bad it will prob be good

SnowWhite looks just like every other suckerpunch music video inspired piece of crap I see out there with techno / industrial soundbytes slowmo set pieces complete with over the top action.

You might as well be playing a video game.

This looks more interesting.. to me

    - yawn
