    PPI Claims?

Has anyone on here claimed and successfully clawed back the PPI they have paid to Banks etc?

If so, do you have a template that you can send me

[I know I can source them from Google but they are pretty generic so would be ideal if someone created a letter from scratch]

    Laziness plays a part in it but I am looking for letter from someone who has;

'Claimed and won through a letter they have drafted of their own'

    Re: PPI Claims?

So you want someone to draft a legal letter for you... for free?

that really is lazy, especially when the templates are just as good and designed with the PPI claim in mind

    Re: PPI Claims?

Depending which bank you are with - some of them provide a form for you to fill in.

I am with the halifax and just filled in their form and sent it off...

    Got a nice settlement

    Re: PPI Claims?

I wish I had some to claw back, I just missed out on the bank charges when they were in full swing, had just got a Court date and then it went on hold for the test case and the rest is history

So I haven't had PPI, and therefore haven't needed a claim, or a letter.

If I did, I'd probably start out with a template from the likes of those already suggested (MSE, Which, etc) and kick it about a bit to make it look a bit less template-ish ... while being careful in doing so. Or just use it as-is.

I don't see how sending a non-generic letter is going to aid you. As long as you provide the relevant information, if it was mis-sold you'll get it back, if it wasn't you won't.

Enough people have got refunds without doing anything special

    Re: PPI Claims?

THe banks send out a questionnaire for you to fill in anyway I think you can get it off the which website to get the ball rolling.
No matter how fancy your letter is it wont make much difference as the banks are settling pretty quickly in most cases now

    This...

I'm working on several PPI projects with regards to this and the banks do want to sort it out. Just let the banks know, don't worry about how fancy your letter is or isn't. Atleast for the client I'm working for they are actively trying to sort things out in favour of the customer. The banks know they've missold in alot of cases.
