very very basic maths on the BBC website

Q4. The Jacket Potatoes and Chicken Joints have to be ready at 7.45 sharp.

When should Mick start to prepare them?

Chicken Joints: 5 minutes to prepare, 35 minutes to cook.
Jacket Potatoes: 15 minutes to prepare. One and a quarter hours to cook.

    A) Potatoes at 6.15 and chicken at 7.05
    B) Potatoes at 6.45 and chicken at 7.15
    C) Potatoes at 6.30 and chicken at 7.05
    D) Potatoes at 6.15 and chicken at 7.30

    Whats the answer?

    EDIT

I have removed my comment as reading it back it's probably a bit insensitive. Anyway I thought I would leave the question up, more here...

Is this one of their question of the week things or a test to see how stupid people are?

Oh and the answer is... Tuesday.

Is that why you removed your comment? I think you edited your post because you're embarrassed that you started a thread that criticised the BBC for making basic maths errors, but made a basic spelling mistake in your original post.

erm... no I would have just edited my spelling. Also if you actually did the question you would see there is nothing wrong with their maths as answer "a" is correct

Thanks for quoting a comment I removed though, its nice of you.

Re: very very basic maths on the BBC website

I want to know who the hell takes 15 minutes to score a potato!

Using some basic maths of my own, I could score around 90 potatoes in 15 minutes, but 90 potatoes and 5 chicken joints seems a bit imba

Is there some amusing error here that I've missed???
No trees were harmed in the creation of this message. However, many electrons were displaced and terribly inconvenienced.
