    Woot :) Apps for iPad

Proud owner of new iPad. Anyone recommend any decent apps for iPad?

    Any also recommend decent covers?

So many apps to list, but to make the most of the retina screen here are the optimised ones so far...

    http://www.t3.com/news/apple-lists-a...retina-display

So far out of those my favourites are...

Star Walk (just amazing on that screen)

Kindle (new kindle app makes the text so crisp)

Sky Gamblers: Air Supremacy (quality game)

For covers I just went for the standard smart cover for now.

Agree Star Walk and if you like addictive games, Angry Birds. I don't feel the iPad is very good as a reader, I did try the kindle app but holding the ipad like a book soon makes your wrists ache.

TED app is great to download some content up, before a short flight. But it also then shows the stupid limitations on the fondle-slab.

the Opera browser is a complete must, much faster, much less anoying when browsing a forum such as Hexus.
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)

Also very handy if you're browsing using 3G and your network provider blocks EVERYTHING, even if you request they remove the "adult content block".
