If you had 7 litres of...

Southern Comfort sitting in your cupboard.....

OK.. am planning on organising something for a mate... he's got 7 litres of this stuff sitting in one of his cupboards,, and I was gonna organise a friends get together thing.. with the pure intention of drinking every last drop of it.. and every one getting totally wasted on a sunny day.

Am looking for a number of Southern Comfort based drinks...

any ideas ?... cocktails.// mixes.//lollies/crush... cakes... u name it.. bring it on

get a pineapple.... hollow it out a bit, so there's a thick walled jug kind of affair goin on... pour SC into it and leave until it all soaks in. Repeat until it won't absorb any more.. decant the excess into something so you can use it again.. and dice the pineapple.. exceedingly volatile and alcoholic pineapple chunks Make great Hors d'oevres (spell?)

Blatantly stolen from the Southern Comfort website - but hey, it contains chocolate AND alcohol so I was sold!! Personally I reckon you should increase the amount of Southern Comfort!!

    Southern Comfort Chocolate Pecan Pie

    1/3 cup Southern Comfort
    1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
    4 eggs
    1/2 cup chocolate chips
    1-1/4 cups light corn syrup
    1-1/4 cups brown sugar
    1 t. vanilla
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
    1 10-inch unbaked pie shell

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix pecans, Southern Comfort, eggs, chocolate chips, corn syrup, brown sugar and vanilla in medium bowl. Blend thoroughly. Add melted butter and blend well. Pour filling into a 10-inch unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

^ Lovely stuff! I was seeing a mate at uni last time I ate them, we started the day on them (about 4-5 pm) and when we got back (about 4am) I carried on, I knew I shouldn't have but they tasted so good I didnt really pay for it the next day either, which was nice

Pineapple sounds a damn good idea, you can do the same with water melons aswell iirc.

I'd be tempted to drink it all straight though............with ice, lemonade a cherry and a slice of lemon

I was in the middle of the bar when I did it, doubles, about a pints worth, then I went and sat outside in the rain and threw up lots....
Wasnt my fault tho, there was a free bar and the girl I'd gone to the party with was in the kitchens with some other bloke

    Agreed. Horrid stuff.

The only way to drink it is in a cocktail form I reckon.

2 measures of Southern Comfort, ginger ale (not beer), and lime - lots of ice. All in a tall thin glass.

My alcoholic anorexic former housemate recommends it - and she knows a thing or two

Edit: if you could swap it for Havana Club dark Rum, then seven Litres would be a bit easier to manage mi thinks

nope.. its gotta be Southern Comfort.. they were all gifts.. been collected over time..

Ginger Ale, Lime and Ice are at the ready .....

Looking for those strange ideas.. the cocktails,, the bizarre.. the things that are gonna make it still potable after the 3rd litre.........drinking it neat is gonna be the final stage and definitely on the list.

Plenty of other forms of alcohol are available.. we got shakers, crushers,, freezers, tweezers, geezers, straws, glasses...fully fitted kitchen, gas central heating blah blah blah.. just need the inspiration
