So I just spent the day in one of these:



(Actually for a King Air).

I'm training for a new job, and the company has sent me to train in one of these for a couple of weeks. It's amazing. It's very pitch sensitive, but it's great for learning the systems, EFIS etc, and their failure modes.

You can do this too! A little searching will find you 'Pilot for a day' experiences which will put you in a real certified full motion sim. It's not cheap. You'll spend around 600GBP for an hour. It's worth it! Make sure you memorize flows and systems test cards!
