Fundraising for Brain Tumour UK

Hey guys, just a little thread here to try and raise some money for a charity that I feel deserves as much money as I can get.

I'm hoping to raise £500 for Brain Tumour UK, a charity that helped my uncle a lot about 18 months ago; they did a brilliant job and definitely deserve my efforts to raise more money so they can continue their brilliant work.

I'm going to be running the Grasmere to Caldbeck leg of the www.relayGB.org event, on the 10th of May.

The event is running from the 4th of May until the 21st of May, and is taking place all over the country.

I'm up £33 on my page now, got quite a few people saying they'll sponsor me on one of the 2 following Fridays (payday).

Been out for a jog this morning, manage just short of 4 miles. So I've got 3 and a bit weeks to add 2.5 miles onto my ability. Should be do able.

Why do I think that is the sort of thing you'd know how to actually arrange.

Well, speed isn't a problem, at all. I'm an extremely fast runner (<11s 100m). But endurance running is where I struggle.. So training for this is very difficult. I'm absolutely determined to raise as much money as I can for this charity though, they do brilliant work and deserve every penny.

I managed a 10.91 at a county school event a few years ago, which I won. Just something I've always been good at... Endurance, on the other hand, is something I really struggle with
