    Quick, boring, excel noob problem

    Hey.
    doing the final rounds on my geography coursework and my current task is to write out all results in tables in excel, and then show these numbers in scatter diagrams. anyone know how to put a line of best fit onto the diagrams?

    if you right click on the graph one of the options there allos you to add in lines

    that's the thing, i have lines but cant for the life of me find line of best fit. damn paperclip isnt the most useful helper, either. i KNOW it's possible because some of my friends have managed it, and because its essential.

    highlight the chart, and from the chart dropdown, click Add trend line
