    more cute pets

after seeing beeenys cats i had to sheare these fellas with you all

i got home one day last week to find a dead creature on the road outside my house...wasn't quite sure what it was cos it was pretty flat

anyways, the next day i was in my garden having a ciggie & a cuppa when i heard some scrabbling coming from under a bush at the back of the garden

i got on my hands & knees & had a peek under the bush. only to find 2 baby polecats foraging around...it turns out i have 4 baby polecats living under my shed & they are the cutest things i've ever seen

    (they're a bit tricky to photograph...(A) becuase they're jumpy and (B) cos i'm a rubbish photographer )

i can only assume the creature on the road was their mum cos i bought some dogfood & cat milk & put it out for them. judging by the reaction this got they were starving

i've been feeding them a little bit of food & milk every day since...they're fairly developed so hopefully with a little help they'll all survive
if it ain't broke...fix it till it is

Had a similar occurance this year, a family of bluetits nesting in a wall box on our house, one day they all flew away, except for one who fell out of the nest onto our patio.

Phoned the RSPB and had to look after it for about 5 days untill they came round. Those things are bloody hard to feed, you had to literally shove the worms down their throats!
