    This is what i have been doing today.

    Setting up that lot and screwing it into horribly old small cabinets

    I am determined that this school will have the best performing network infrastructure in S.Wales (i mean some other schools are using 10mb hubs ffs!)

    I may have some older cisco stuff for sale soon, some 10 and 100 switches and hubs. PM me if intersted.

    Cool, HP seems like good stuff! Just bought an HP procurve 48 port switch for work, tho I haven't really had a chance to play with it properly yet! On a plus side, when installing it, it made me tidy up the mess of wires the previous installers left! Joy.

    We use about a half dozen ProCurve 2524s with stacking modules and a couple of gigabit over copper transceivers. Veeeeeeery solid kit, and easy to manage too.

    That doesn't look bad, is that for the entire network or is it bigger than that (surely it is, lol)?
