Stupid Stinking Cold

I love autum and winter and they are both coming, we had some loverly grotty wether hear in Nottingham today which was nice But I got a stupid cold. Has any one else got one yet. Lots of people at my sisters work place are ill.
grrrrr. I got a party to go to on saterday and an important business meeting on monday. Both I cant miss but this is getting worse and worse. Any one else got a cold or any one got any nice recipies to get rid of it. The more the merrier (and merrier I'll be as most contain whisky and I got alot of it) Just wondering what you people do when ur all bunged up and sniffly.

Thats bad matey, colds suck , easpecially when you've got important stuff to do!

I tend to sleep loads and drink lots of tea/coffee/teaoffee (not really a huge departure from what i normally do )

I am another one SUFFERING with a cold at the moment Started with a sore throat for about 4 days and now has turned into a right git of a head cold.

Now if I was at work I would not mind so much but I have just started a string of 9 days off

Plenty of Vitamin C m8, fresh Orange juice is good, drink at least a 1 Litre Carton, spread out over the day for maximum effect (your body is crap at storing vitamin C). Honey and Lemon is very good also, try adding some Paracetamol, will make you feel better. Drink plenty of fluids, get more sleep and avoid alcohol lol

I got a summer cold. I can't Box or Thai Box, after 2 minutes on a punch bag I collapse....it's really getting me down...
AND I can't reach any high notes....gig a week on monday, if it doesnt go by then....I'm screwed..

Need to get a really hot curry. The gets everything out of your nose, for a few minutes at least. Or get some boiling water in a bowl, put a towel over ur head and purly breathe through your nose the whole time.

when i get flu i drink lots of water thru the day as well as vegetable soup but on a night just get a bottle of whiskey
put a drop in a glass and pop it in the microwave for 30 secs max
and then drink it relieves the horrible blocked nose and sore throat relieves all other pains aches after several of these well
ok mixed with irn bru lol sharp forget about the flu then next morning your so badly hung over to even think about having flu !!!!

lol. Im tempted to get a very hot curry, bottle of whisky, a blanket and a box of kleenex for the evening. and some irn bru. About the collapsing thing. Its so funny, when you have a blocked nose try eating/drinking and walking. It knackers you out straight away.
My sympothy goes to every one with a cold. Mine just keeps getting worse. gonna be sitting on trains and stuff tomorrow aswell and then sleep in a tent. wo is me.

I have caught a bitch of a cold, probably from sharing cups of water with loads of strangers at Reading Have fealt pretty awful the whole week, just no motivation to do anything except sleep, sit in bed watching TV or chat online. The only thing that has cheered me up recently is getting my TFT... how sad!
