Talking Just bought a label making machine...

And the urge to label things is almost overwhelming.

Everything that bears a plug in my room and for about 5m outside it is neatly labelled with a small white strip.

The urge though is there to make a label that says computer and stick it on my shuttle fascia.

I almost wrote a label saying "drink", and "waterblock".

/takes a deep breath, if any of you see a bloke in the pub with "specs" written on his glasses and "dosh" on his wallet.......buy me a drink

A few years ago my dad bought one of those dymo labellers where you type the message onto it's screen and then press print. He got so carried away labelling everything that we eventually printed a label saying 'Labels are for ****ers' and stuck it on the labelling machine.

He left home a couple of years ago and lives in Docklands now. I know how to find his building but I can never remember his apartment number, so when we visited him last I had to phone him at the bottom of the stairs to ask his house number. Had I been observant though I needn't have bothered: out of 60-odd letter boxes, only one had a neatly printed label saying 'No junk mail or circulars'.
