No more "Have a break have a kit kat"

Just been reading the paper (yes, the Times!) and I saw in T2 (page 3 if anyone has it) that Kit Kat are going to scrap their slogan "Have a break have a kit kat"

"Have a break, have a Kit Kat" is out and "Make the most of your break" is in, say Nestle Rowntree, the makers of KitKat. One can only imagine the excitement when those charged with inventing a new slogan arrived at that phrase......Nestle Rowntree say that "Make the most of your break" reflects the fact that workplace breaks are "now less structured and formal".

It will be sorely missed. Probably means no more of those adverts where he compairs animals to the Land Tortoise, its great

Wow! The new slogan is really parfectic. (sorry fogot how to spell it ) "Make the most of your break" - really? Not that catchy really is it? O well. Nestle Rowntree adverising ppl.

Read that Andrex are doing away with the 'Soft, strong and very long' too. Forget the slogan they are replacing it with... Which says something in itself really!
