    Hexus probs :(

Auran, a dedicated Hexite, is having problems logging on (at work).
I have NO idea what the problem is... can anyone assist?!!!! Please?!!!

He can get onto the main site with no problems at all. But when he logs into
the forums it loads up fine, up to a point and then hangs (blue bar at bottom
is only 7/8ths full) and the flash movie advert below the main bar at top
won't load, but the browser is still trying to load it, hence the hang /
crash. Then because of this if he tries to move to another page it times out

He CAN read other web pages with Flash though, and has tried other computers at work and has the same issue.

I don't have Flash installed at work, but I just get a message saying that it won't load properly, I press "OK" and then all is fine (I just don't get the adverts showing, no prob really!).
Auran's problem seems to be slightly different though....

I had this problem a while back its in one of the hexus forums where i asked for help too.

From memory i did the following strip out the ADdress of the flash movie look at it on its own, and did SHIFT + F5 on this page...

    http://65.119.30.151/UploadFilesForN...gg725hexus.swf

    and then it worked fine.....

Try that and see if it works..

i've done it already, its that address there, get Auran to put that in a browser on its own as a URL and see if he can get the movie to load on its own

Then come back to hexus forums and try...

It seems to be a blocked advert site, so he needs to find a way of stopping it loading...

Depends what browser he is using. I know you can block images for certain sites in Firefox, I dunno about IE (which I presume he is using)
