So I was having an okay morning, nothing much to speak of, felt a little 'off'. Then got a phone call from a guy complaining about the announcers we have on our radio station with British accents - namely, me. Apparently I sound like I have 'mush' in my mouth, "and what happened to the good old American accent, who owns you? Robert Murdoch?..." ... I'm sorry sir, let me put you through to my Program Director". Click.

My close friend seems to be down and I can't do much about it. And overall I'm just feeling quite lonely right now.

yup, i feel down atm too, for different reasons. I've just come home to glasgow after living with my bf for 5 weeks, and he's gone on holiday to menorca with his mum etc and i'm skint and BLEH!

On the plus side i may have a job interview tomorrow, so hopefully i'll feel a bit better then!

women seem to enjoy shopping, could always try that, but i end up wasting money and coming home feeling worse, after spending all i have on .. nothing :|

Take lots of fast deep breaths....oxygen is good, just try not to pass out...

Eat some chocolate, or foods heavy in fast burning sugars (white bread, pasta, rice) for that instant high effect...

Get some exercise. Gym, walk, pushups, all night raving in some dingy little club with sweat dripping off the ceiling...endorphins....wonderful things....

Realise that all people (especially those w@nk3rs with so much time on their hands that they have to call in to radio stations to complaign) are all essentially evil, and they're not worth your piss, spit, vomit, or any other bodily secretions. Love your friends and family, and assume the worst about everyone else....especially those people who drive Mercedes...

As for your friend, tell him that worse things happen at sea, and that he should cheer up. Unless of course he's a fisherman, in which case I wouldn't...

I seem to dodge in an ot of being depressed every other day, nothing to major recently but there'll be times when i'll belying in bed and I just can't bring myself to get up as I know i've got nothing to do other than mope round the house smoking and playing my guitar, been in a reasonbly good mood today just chillin and remembering the drunken antics of last night.

Aww..that doesn't sound too good. I dunno what to say really. I just hope that you're gonna be fine. But hey, try not to listen to that man..I mean he is just one person, okay?
I really love the British accent and really miss it when I've just heard the american accent for a while. I went to England for about a year ago and visited so friends, omg I went I just love the way they talk.

Don't let that guy get to you! You're fine, there is a lot of people around there listening to you! And I'm sure a lot of people likes the accent.

i finished work at 10. i then broke down on the way to my deale.....mates...house, pushed my scooter a mile or so uphill n left it on his drive, had to get the last bus home, which was full of retards who couldn't see cos they'd been eyeballing vodka. i then had to walk past at least 15 coppers staring at me outside the portable police station (we love a fight in wolvo...) just to get a taxi home, arriving back at 12.27. i am now incredibly wasted, and it has helped overcome the crap
