I seem to remember a thread on here a while ago about purple Pringles...
Then today.... I ate these!
These are "real" crisps and are very ....blue!
There are NO colourings in them cos they are made from a naturally blue potato!!! Cool huh?!!
(As an aside... they tasted really nice too!)
I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.
What make are those? Never seen anything like them. Would be too scared to try them aswell

^^ i'm with stoo - erm nature doesn't do blue - much more a green thing, but hey maybe they could mess with the colour of the vegtables i don't like the look of because they are green and then i'm sorted

Seriously, there is a variety of potato that is blue! (according to the packet!) The ingredient dec says "Blue Potato, Vegetable Oil, Salt" ... I'll try to find the bag tomorrow cos it has a description of the potatoes and where they are grown etc!

They look like the crisps that occaisionally get dug out from behind my sofa
I've seen a cookery program where they made mash out of blue potatoes. It's a fairly old variety from what I could gather.

Someone told me carrots used to be purple. I dunno if its true or not but sounds good anyway!

True or False: Carrots ought to be purple. The reason they are orange is due to the Dutch, who selctively bred them that colour.
