The more that comes out about this the more it does look like he wanted to get back at samsung..
Basically, the foreman might have had bad blood with Seagate and Samsung is a big shareholder in Seagate. One of the lawyers who sued the foreman on behalf of Seagate, is married to one of the Samsung lawyers in the current case. It seems he did not mention this before the trial.
How about that, does sound suitably suspicious to me! Foreman clearly exerted bias, as he admitted in numerous news is outlets!
Good news - means I can get my iphone 4 with a clear conscience - although finding mt way bqack from the store might be a problem...
