my fellow Mods and Admins look tired right now I'm not sure whats occuring on the IRC channels out there in the big wide Interweb, but the animosity levels HERE on Hexus have gone up rapidly in the last week.

So, today, if ya all can manage it, can we have a day of actively keeping nice, respectfull, and if it seems like someone is maybe having a pop at someone, instead of getting your willy out and waving it in the air, keep your pants on and ignore it.

Please, lets try for diplomacy and see how we get on. As always if someone offends someone else, you can PM me and the other guys.

But the coolest thing about Hexus is NORMALLY the self moderating nature. You lot , and there a LOT OF YA keep it all real, and on the ground, on your own.

But a few fall outs have occured in the last week, and it feels.....angry, in here sometimes.

DOnt want it like that. Please remember its a FREE FORUM, and if enough Mods get miffed with it, it closes.

And Zakky of all people doesn't want that. Its home. But its OUR HOME. I like you letting yourself in at 1am and grabbing a cold coke from my fridge and sitting in the GD lounge here and shooting a few ideas at each other about Life, the Universe and Everything. I WANT you to do that.

But, most mornings, when I pop in, there's a bit of blood on the carpet, a few broken bottles and no one has emptied the ashtray

Aye, was on IRC monday night, spotted and ended up involved at a couple of points, while we all like to have a moan and a good argument we've also gotta be respectful as if we don't this boards gonna end up like a fair few others I visit full of elitist so and so's and bitchyness. I'm agreeing with zak on this one despite my occaisional mess around on IRC, i don't want it here either as this is my home on the web, and there's a trip to my freezer for anyone that messes it up

Very well summed up -lets all be friends, the forums are doing so well but we are in a massive growth stage as always - more and more people. Lets not display the animosity of so many other forums.

It should be a happy place people! Everyone likes a bit of funfilled banter on IRC but lets not get personal eh?

mods do their job and they're good at it too, better than most other forums online. I've experienced mods that are too lenient and mods that are too suffocating, and the ones here are the pick of the crop, the best. no doubt

I'm obviously blind too - you guys are obviously being far too good - I never get chance to see any really bad stuff I've been on and even run other forums, and none have had such a good atmosphere as here.

OK - thats about as close as I'm ever getting to sucking up to the mods
