    Rail network map?

    I'm trying to find the best way to get to London Euston by train, from Aylesbury. I don't really want to change, and would rather drive a short distance to avoid that!

    I THINK I can get a train from Tring (15-20mins drive away) straight into Euston, but I can't find a Network Map that shows the smaller stations anywhere, despite numerous "Google" attempts!!

    Anyone know where I can find a map??

    Thanks!

    The rail planner Rob linked to has served me well in the past, although my nearest train station is Hull, which is rather large, hehe.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Cant put my hand on maps, think they are on other PC. But yes, you can go from Tring. Operated by silverlink trains, website HERE they have a nice network map showing stations served.

    *edit* Any reason you aren't wanting to travel from Aylesbury Station? There are direct services from there

    I use http://www.trainline.co.uk whenever I need to know how to get somewhere by train. Dunno if you can search for smaller stations tho.

    Trainline is good for this, as you can search for your nearest station by location if your not sure.

    Drive to Tring, Park in their car park - and to Euston

    3 quid for the entire day make sure you have the right change

    Either that or go from Aylesbury and get a Tube across - will take less time than going from Aylesbury -> Tring

    Thanks!

    David - you think train from Aylesbury to Marlybone then tubs to Euston would be quicker than driving to Tring, then direct train to Euston?? Hmmmm... I don't much like the underground, especially when its busy and hot.

    Thanks people!

    If you fancy driving to MK (ok i know its like 1/2 hr drive) but you can get an almost direct train to Euston, stopping off at Hemel Hempstead and Watford (I think) These trains run pretty much every 1/2 hour if that.

    Am I posting too late?

    No, not too late!!
    I did consider the MK idea as the trains are v quick from MK, even though it does seem a bit daft driving north to go south again!
    Tring is on the same line, although probably takes as long to get to London from there as it does from MK because none of the fast trains stop there!
    Worth considering I think! after all, the most obvious options are not always the best!!!
