Based on my experiences in Currys, you will need to show willing to group together with colleagues and avoid any interest in helping customers at any areas of low commission - generally after lunch but especially near closing time, wait for customers to pick up an item, then swarm to offer extortionately over priced cables and extended warranties.

    Re: Interview at Currys today

i've seen this question asked many times and the answers all seem to be along the lines of tell them you don't have a clue about any of the products they are selling, you don't know how to work a computer, you don't know what the internet is, and a £100 hmdi cable gives a better picture than a £10 one, and remember that when they say the believe in excellency in customer service it's a trick question. do that and you should walk it, if the people on the internets are right

if they ask a question you don't know, don't lie or make something up, just say you don't know but you are willing to find out and learn. no-one knows everything. many questions can be answered along the lines of "whatever company policy is" or "whatever i've been trained to do", so you sound like you will do what you are told, then give your opinion if they ask it

if you lack work experience and don't get the job you could look into volunteering for a charity shop and get some retail experience and customer service that way, it also looks like you are keen to learn and progress
