Ive not had to use the service, but If my monitor had a dead pixel, I wanna send it back, within 7 days.
Return Items
The next page will list each item you wish to return and will ask for two pieces of information:
1. Serial Number(s)
2. Reason.
1.We only need the serial number if an item is faulty. If you are returning a quantity of more than 1 for a particular type of item then we need a serial number for every faulty item. The serial number can be on the box or the item itself, usually prefixed by SN: (note, not all products have a serial number).
2.Please help us to help you by giving a short but descriptive reason for returning the item.
Typical reasons for return:
Non faulty: Returning within seven days of purchase, unopened.
Non faulty: Wrong item sent, this is a...
Non faulty: I have made a mistake and selected the wrong product.
Faulty: The item arrived damaged..
Faulty: The item will not power up.
Faulty: The item powers up but then... describe fault.
Faulty: I have had this item over a month and ...describe fault.
I dont like the way it says "Non faulty: Returning within seven days of purchase, unopened
This oviously means what it says on the site, no fooling around having a look at it first.
However, there seems to be more leniancy with "Non faulty: I have made a mistake and selected the wrong product."
Now, does this mean that I can have a look at it, then send it back?
If anyone knows about the legalities of the 7 day returns, or has had experience with returns to Dabs, or even has a better recommendation for a supplier (for 1760NX LCD Display), please post.
Ive wanted this bloody monitor for weeks now, but havent found a supplier who I'm happy with buying from, as I really dont want any dead pixels. I have been through most routes, trying to get the checks done to ensure no dead pixels, but to no avail, and I dont want to spend my hard earned cash on a dud LCD.
Cheers
