Aww man, Loved thunderbirds as a kid. Had the toys and everything. The TV show was about the only thing that would stop me running around like a demon child.
RIP Gerry, thanks for the memories.
I suddenly feel extremely old, every Saturday morning Thunderbirds was on TV and I didn't move till it finished.
Legendary gentleman
A man responsible for entertaining generations od kids - R.I.P.
I used to watch Thunderbirds every day when it was on TV when I was a kid. Like everyone that watched it, I would not budge from the tv no matter the cost And I still won't, its a timeless masterpiece.
R.I.P. Gerry. Simply legendary!
I remember Starfleet & Terrahawks - esp Dai X !!

Also the man who came up with UFO AND Space 1999.
From Captain Scarlet to Space 1999, is my entire childhood.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Amazing imagination with the concepts of the Thunderbird fleet, and brilliantly executed.
He will be missed, but Thunderbirds will stand in his memory as one of the foremost animators.
But while Thunderbirds might be his best known series, who else remembers 'Supercar'?. I was glued to the (homemade by my father) 12" B&W TV when that was on.
