This makes me wonder if Dell were going to have another flirt with Ubuntu. After all, Windows 8 doesn't seem to be selling well!

With $2bn of the money required to do this coming from Microsoft, I doubt they'll do it in a big or public way.

Unless of course Microsoft have developed their own open source o/s (called Youwanto) that just happens to bundle in a tranche of proprietary basic software that if user's like they will have to pay to upgrade?!!
