When does Next Week become This Week?

I thought it was the same time the previous week became last week but only a week later.

If someone asked me on a Saturday 'do you want to come round one day this week', I'd take them to mean the coming week.

Then again if someone asked me 'do you want to come round one day next week', I'd take it to mean that as well.

So that's not much help. But a week is Monday to Sunday, no doubt there.
