You should put it on display on your mantelpiece, for all to admire.

My tower is sideways on in an odd cupboardy fitment under monitor & keyboard, owing to lack of anywhere better, with its cables trailing about in an unlovely mess.
Ideally raised.
On the floor, it can get very dusty if you don't do regular cleans (which I didn't).
I used to sit on mine, then I bought a chair.

Well, if it has a good spec, please put it back in the box and address it to...
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
It's always better if you can keep them off the floor, mainly because it reduces the amount of dust that can get into the system.
Also, I've found it prevents incidences of this: http://forums.hexus.net/pc-hardware/...en-i-kick.html
Definitely on the desk, with regular dusting inside and out (should really take my own advice on this, desks a bit on the dusty side ). The last machine I saw that was located on the floor was... was... eurrghh! you could've carpeted a sizeable room with what I found inside.
I was going to say ... In your ..... , but I dont want to get a slap from a MOD.
Have you thought of the fireplace ?
In your garden shed, nice and cool, and either use remote desktop, or a long cable and a wireless keyboard and mouse. (That IS what everyone else does... Right??)

Nope. Mine is on the lavatory cistern. However, when doing the business my back is to it. This got me thinking and I rigged up a rather clever piece of kit (a mirror) so that I could read from the screen without all that twisty/turny nonsense. 'Course I then had to learn how to daer gnihtyreve sdrawkcab. Sometimes, I'm on the bog for hours.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
what size is it ..my full tower sits beside me in the front room ..
What does it matter now if men believe or no?
