I remember Daft Punk's pyramid tour the use of projection and lasers was cutting edge, now its normal. Or the use of LED net curtains, I think it was the chemical brothers I first saw doing it in a great way, about 8 years ago iirc.
This was quite good, but tbh I don't think the video being projected was good. There I said it, the actual graphics and story being told was generic and didn't really match the music any better thank MilkDrop did on my WinAmp 10 bloody years ago.

Oh man milkdrop, there's a name I haven't heard in a while.
Seen this a couple of times in person, the effect can be really impressive done right. The one's I saw didn't have quite that much fidelity or complexity, still very cool though. I love the geometric ones with perspective tricks. Saw one that did a really convincing job of making the building look like it was rearranging itself, that was funky.
Reminds me of the architectural projection mapping stunt and Rochester Castle.
