Well, how much did you pay?

If it wasn't the express service, then they aren't going to rush it are they, it will go the cheapest way possible, I would trust their logistic specialists to know what this is, it could be land or air depending on what it is, and how busy those services are.

The thing is, sometimes a man with van is cheaper than a courier firm, and a much better service too!

I'm only guessing due to the places named are all big flight hubs that it flew. If it had come overland there are much better distribution hubs in England than Stansted that is North East of London.

Anamus I paid £3.99, but I didn't know it was coming from Germany. It was brought from Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/..._ya_os_product) with no mention of when it was coming from I assumed it would be the UK.

Dooms your right both Cologne and Stansted are FedEx hubs

It generally depends on the service, if it was express than air, if it shipped on economy than it could be either.

Just because it says "departed" next to Cologne doesnt necessarily mean its on something moving.

It might just be thats when it was scanned out of the warehouse to spend a few hours sitting at the loading dock, and the same at the other end, its waiting to be scanned into the arrival warehouse.

This - looking at the times above it would have been scanned in at KOLEN at that time but it will then go into a "queue" to be shipped over to stansted - so could have sat around for hours. The same then applies when it arrives at stansted - if it's not a priority item it will have to wait a bit longer for processing at the hub.

Year your probably right, the tracker gave an delivery time of 6pm, but was delivered at 10:30am (good job somebody was home to sign for it. It's such a difference to DPD who send a text giving an estimate of an hour, and who always deliver within that time.
