Nokia 6100, Had a stack load of dev kit from Orange recently and this is by far and away the best bit of kit i've used, great res colour screen, much improved UI and its got superb feature set.

Plus it feels well constructed and is just about the right wieght so not to loose it but heavy enough to feel solid, just incase you dropped it etc.

You guys used an SPV for any length of time????.

I've had one on loan for the last 3 months, and i'm quite frankly disappointed, The UI is quite frankly poo, 27 menu items and to get to anything in 20 to 27 requires 4 menu clicks, nothing like fast scrolling, no jog wheel like the sony ericssons have.

The OS on the phone is crap i've managed to crash it totally 3 times now, just by trying to browse items on the net or putting the SD card in it and updating its apps.

Sounds good on paper but i'm disappointed with its perfomance in practise....

    P800.

    WAP/GPRS/Bluetooth/Full PDA/Mini Web Browser (opera also available a free download)/Touchscreen/Mobile SSH/Email...

So much. I couldn't live without mine. Serious David, the P800 rules over anything.

    http://www.sonyericsson.com/P800/

I wouldn't recommend anything else. The other phones are just phones. With this you can do alot more (including bluetoothing to your lappy when you got it with you). When you don't need the laptop but you still want to use email, the P800 can schedule downloading of headers and/or full emails every x minutes.

Ok.. I've spammed enough. SPV sucks btw.

The only thing that deterred me from the P800 is the lack of standby, when i say that i mean i go away for say a week and cant charge it i want it to be able to be on standby for that amount of time.

    7250i maybe?

Has anyone tried the SPV E100? Supposed to be the improved version of the SPV.

I like the look of the P800, just had a look at one in my lunch break. Not bad standby times either.

Anyone know if theyre any good?
