    Troubles in the shared house…

Well Me (Jim) have been living in a really nice three-bedroom house in a nice area of Southampton for about a year, six months ago the line up changed and now I’m in the house with a girl called Maria and a bloke called Dave…. Everything has been running smoothly we all work in education and we all get on really well with no fights or fall outs, until I went on holiday in August and Dave decided to tell Maria that he loved her! She weighed up the idea and they talked about having a relationship, with out diving in so to speak.

Anyway I get back from Portugal and they have been fighting like hamsters and have totally fallen out, Maria came to the conclusion that she did not want to be in a relationship with Dave and he took it badly, she is now seeing someone else and they are fighting about that, this resulted in Maria finding a new house and now she will be gone in a week or two!

I’m gutted, I have tried everything getting them to sit down and talk and even begging! Dave has been rude and jealous and Maria has been insensitive and unfair.

Looking like an end of a era and I’m helpless to stop it happening

It feels like my mum & dad are getting divorced!

Sadly, it looks like your a passenger on this one mate.

Now, start looking after numero uno - and make sure whatever happens that you don't get lumbered with no housmates and lots of rent/bills. :|

you all good friends then? If so, GET OUT OF IT>....or it'll burn you. Stay locked in ya room dude

If you prefer one to the other.....GET OUT OF IT>....ditto ditto ditto.

Stuff happens, then ya move on. I once dumped my ex long long ago, and the lad who rented a room from me, could be heard in his room, killing himself laughing as we screamed at each other on the landing outside his room.

I slept in HIS room on the floor most nights

    and I OWNED THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!

Yeah at uni we lived in a shared house.

It was ok for a while then cabin fever sets in and you end up hating the people you live with.

Never live with couples, I almost had to get one of my housemates arrested bcos of a similiar situation to this. (He was already loopy but went thro the roof) Luckily for him one of my other housemates got to him first as I was in no mood to deal with him (It was 4am the night before three of us had our final exams )
