Want something pretty for wall-art :-p
Went on a stag-do recently and got to fire a Beretta Shotgun, I like it. I don't much care what one is best, I just like the craftsmanship of the object:
Strange request?I see that they are not allowed on eBay

You can't because it would be classed as an imitation firearm.
Butuz
To get you going,
http://www.guntrader.co.uk/
http://www.gunstar.co.uk/
are two of the main online places to buy working and deacs, if you passing your local WHSmiths or other newsagents Gunmart often has loads of deacs in it.
Your local friendly gunshop might also have something available, where are you based I might be able to recommend a shop.
There are other options, some antiques firearms can be purchased without an FAC, kept as wall hangers, but can be put on an FAC and used.
Are you dead set on a shotgun, you would have more choice if you widened it to antique muskets, rifles, etc.
Just a note to mods, I have no firearms for sale, deactivating them is against my religion![]()
We can own firearms in the uk, and we can own deacs, and you can even own some antique firearms that are capable of working without having and FAC.

De-activated Weapons and Antiques
De-activated Weapons
If a weapon bears an approved house mark and has been certified in writing as de-activated, the item is presumed to be incapable of discharging bullets or shot. De-activated firearms are expressly excluded from the definition of realistic imitation firearm and are therefore not affected by the new realistic imitation offence: Section 8 Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988.
Antiques
Section 58(2) of the 1968 Act exempts from the provisions of the Act - including certificate controls under sections 1 and 2 and prohibition under section 5 - all antique firearms which are sold, transferred, purchased, acquired or possessed as curiosities or ornaments. The word "antique" is not defined in the Act but Home Office guidance on the subject can be summarised briefly as follows:
If modern ready made ammunition can be bought and fired using the weapon it cannot be classed as an antique;
A muzzle loading firearm is antique;
A breech loading firearm using a rim-fire cartridge exceeding .23 (but not 9mm) is antique;
A breech loading firearm using an ignition system other than rim-fire or centre is antique;
A breech loading centre fire firearm originally chambered for cartridges which are now obsolete and retains that original chambering is antique.
However, each case should be dealt with on its merits and advice on individual weapons should be sought from the FSP. The case of R v Burke 67 Cr App R 220 dictates that it is for the Prosecution to prove that the firearm does not come within the ambit of section 58(2) and it is a matter for the jury to decide upon.
Hi there are a few sites that specialize in de activated firearms i cant post a URL because i have less than 5 posts but google real-gun.com and you will see it there
If you are looking for something which has been sympathetically deactivated then you would want something which was deactivated pre 1993 but if its just a wall hanger you are after then it doesn't really matter. the prices on this site are pretty reasonable too.
Marcos, you can also consider air guns that are modelled on firearms, you don't need a licence for these - provided they're not too powerful of course. However, bear in mind that you must take "reasonable precautions" to prevent unauthorised access to the air gun from under 18's, so if you've got kids in the house there may be 'issues' hanging one up on the wall.
EDIT: A strange bit of law springs in to mind...
When I say air gun, I mean the ones which shoot metal pellets, e.g. lead pellets or steel/copper BBs. These are fine, even if it looks like a real firearm.
Whereas, I don't mean "BB guns" even if they're air powered, e.g. the ones that kids use to shoot 6mm plastic BBs at their mates. "Realistic" BB guns, i.e. BB guns that aren't in some ridiculous, child-friendly, kitten-saving, non-intimidating colour scheme are effectively banned.

lol cheers Marcos.... after 1993 the regulations regarding the deactivation of firearms in the UK were changed to make the reactivation of firearms much more difficult eg a pre 1993 deactivated SA80 could be cocked dry fired and stripped and the firing pin would be filed down and barrell plugged and receiver cut, but one deactivated after that would be welded shut and have no moving parts and the barrel cut plugged and receiver cut , by all means I am no expert in the field but thats the gist of it lol
