    dont know bout london but edinburgh's trying to do everything they can to stop ppl driving... Edinburgh - Scotlands capital unless u have a car

    And it'd work too if public transport is up to scratch. Which it isn't.

    The state of some buses today They are really dingy nasty places, packed with chavs who can't even afford novas, constantly damp, really cold, mucky, filthy and the person who sits next to you always STINKS or is a nutter who has disturbing habbits, such as the one that sat next to me the other day talking about the birmingham tree (No, I have no idea either!). Of course they always sit in a way that prevents your escape so that you have to endure their stench or mad ways...

    I think the Edinburgh bus system is really good, its cheap, faster than with a car (own bus lane), there's loads of them and you can get to anywhere in the city easily
