    Very cool, also somewhat worrying.

    Kinda puts into perspective, even now, how screwed we would be if we were to end up crash landing in a desert.

    When you look on google maps and just keep zooming out and zooming out and theres still nothing nothing nothing until you can see half of Africa!

    Only thing is, how quick will that get buried in the sand? Considering most of it is quite flat

    Wondered about the same thing. Is the desert stony rather than sandy - would be my chief concern during construction.
