My work experience was excellent. I went to a little computer shop for two weeks and it was brilliant. I had fun and learnt some pretty interesting stuff as well.

Mine was pretty cool too.
Worked for Bonas Machine Company. Ended up installing windows 3.11 japanese edition onto the controllers for the CNC machines. Pretty mad!!!
When i left after my week i was given allsorts of hardware. SCSI Hard drives, AWE64, external CD writer... etc... (All brand new stuff.... bear in mind this was about 7? years ago now, since i've been left school 5 years)

I did a weeks work experience in the Aeronautical Engineering Deparment at British Aerospace Airbus in Filton
A good week all round,had tours of all the facilities and even got to contribute to some work being done on an upgrade to the Nimrod

My work expierience was appauling. Worked in a damn shoe shop. It was really nasty helping the elderly put on shoes when they have been going for their daily stroll in the town.

did my work experience at my local garage as a mechanic.
Oh those were the days sitting on my arse doin nowt as usual and now its even easier i now work as one of those telephones engineers u know the ones. Lol
i worked at a primary school, went two days and got sick for 2 weeks
im sure i replied to this before, oh well
first day went pretty well, and all i can say is there are some people that own PCs that shouldnt be allowed to operate anything that requires electricity.

same person asked me to install a CD writer, looked at front and it already had one (She hadnt even noticed even tho it had adaptec easy CD creator installed). Shes bringing in another PC and a PC world networkin kit that she bought (had no idea how to set it up).
she also left a note saying please install my HP Deskjet 8xx. she ddidnt leave a driver CD or the printer. :|

We get people like that allot at work (Tech Support Line) its hard to tell someone how to set up a new network connection when they cant find the start menu
