REMEMBER THESE????

How many of you are still using them? I've been using mine for the past month now without no troubles. Keeps my Stella nice and chilled. I managed to squeeze 4 x 500ml cans in, the door struggles to shut though.

i'd have to question why you'd own a fridge that only holds 4 cans - just...
mind you I am faintly reminded of the Fosters 'Feng Shui' ad...leaving only the fridge, loo, archair and big telly in the middle of the room.
but i can't stand fosters - rats pee. stella always teastes stale too - nasty. prefer heiny, or hoegarden...

I have one of the microdirect fridges too.. first I lapped the heatsink, and smeared it with arctic silver 3. Then I put a 120mm Enermax fan in the back instead of the 80mm job. Then, when Microdirect rang, I threw away the psu and fitted a molex to it.

Sat nicely on my desk for the summer.. doing nothing. I think I used it once, then turned it off.

So now I'm in the middle of ripping out the peltier and making a drinks cooler as done by a guy on bit-tech.. but better.

XTR aren't those the viking fridges they later sent the warnings out saying they wern't safe and could catch on fire?!?

Yes it is... They didnt contact me

(so if it goes up in flames im gonna slap them silly)
