Think it's the 1st Jan, but plug "VCA discount code" into your search engine of choice and you'll find loads of info.

And congrats Jay :-) I found Cloud and WM a bit more challenging so did the free courses, but as you say DCV is pretty simple if you've ever used vSphere and vcenter in anger.

Another +1 for the pluralsight stuff - In terms of VMware courses I got the most value from the fast track one ( many years back on VI3 ) at the time, but If you can only spring for a shorter course, then look at the Deploy, Secure and Analyse one rather than install configure & manage. Its a much deeper course and you'll learn much more than recapping existing knowledge if you know you way around vSphere to start with.

They don't seem to offer an Deploy, Secure & Analyse course any longer (or at least if they do I can't see it on offer in the next 3 months on the MyLearn site)

they dont ? damn - I'm sure the VCI's I was talking to when I ran the TTT session for the upcoming Veeam Certification (/shameless plug) were talking about it. I know they do the design & troubleshooting ones , but I think those are more VCAP level.

EDIT : looks like it the Optimise and scale course these days

Ah right. Well... ICM is booked now, so that'll have to do. I've had a good look through the blueprint for the VCP, so I know which other bits I need to cover for the cert (will take a look at the Jason Nash courses on O&S too).

Any idea when your guys are releasing the Veeam cert training/exams? I work for a partner, so I might as well run through that when it comes. I signed up for notification, but nothing as yet.

Have you done all of the stuff on the Veeam University ? I believe Arrow have advertised some course dates - Avnet certainly have some trainers ( I had a couple of them on the TTT ) The exam isn't live at Pearson VUE just yet though.

I ran through the Veeam University stuff a year or so ago, not sure what extra has gone up since then, but I'll take a look.
