Re: alternatives to ebay ?
Classified section in your local paper. Car boot sale. Local uni. Local market. Tech forums often have for sale sections for regular contributing members, like Hexus (see pinned post in this section).
Re: alternatives to ebay ?
Could try Amazon to they're not too bad; least they tell you up front how much they would take.
Have a cash generator near you? They have a website to which you can place ads onto too.
Re: alternatives to ebay ?
Anything I want to buy on ebay, I use Amazon and never look back. I love Amazon as much as I hate ebay! :)
Re: alternatives to ebay ?
Facebook for sale in my area and gumtree worth. Depends a lot on whether someone nearby wants to bite though.
Re: alternatives to ebay ?
Rival online auction sites are a thing of the past in this country now since eBay killed them all.
As others have said, local classifieds are probably your best bet but personally I can't be bothered with the hassle and usually just use eBay or CEX.
You could also possibly try the BST section on a site like HUKD but be prepared for a lot of haggling.

Re: alternatives to ebay ?
you could try ebid, they are not huge but have been going for ages, I first signed up about 10 years ago.
Re: alternatives to ebay ?
I've bought stuff on eBid before (www.ebid.net). I've not sold anything on there, however...
Re: alternatives to ebay ?
