Utterly facinating:
I didn't know that the International Space Station is already 93% water efficient, but it is.
However.. the new process that's just been mentioned in that article, implies the removal of the ammonia to power a tiny electricy cell as well as using reverse osmosis to remove the urine element and gain water.
Sound painfully complex but I've never ever though of water as being the holding back factor of gettinh to mars.. not even considered it (my sillyness)
I also didn't know that humans unrinate about 50% more fluid than they take on. I know fod comtains water and that energy creation creates it, but still, if it's tappable (pardon the pun) to the rate they say, one day, and a little enery is removable too, even if the process is very chemical heavy just to make space flight possible..
