I'll do it... I'll get my hob nob gun and pummel him to death with biscuits (REAL biscuits) and let the nation feed off him for a week!Originally Posted by RVF500
You will need the following ingredients:
2 Cups of Unbleached flour
1 Tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 stick of butter (softened slightly)
1 Cup of milk (2% or whole)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Lightly butter a cookie sheet and set aside.
In a medium size bowl, combine the flour, baking
powder, soda, salt and butter. Using a pastry blender
cut in butter till coarse crumbs form. Add milk and stir
to make a soft dough. Dust the top of the dough with a little more flour if the mixture feels really sticky to the touch. Turn out on to a lightly floured surface and knead slightly. Roll the dough out and cut into biscuits using a biscuit cutter. Place the biscuits on the buttered cookie sheet. Lightly rub a little butter on tops of the biscuits. Bake for about 12 minutes or until golden brown.
scone ? What the heck is that?
those are rolls, not even very big ones. In fact as rolls go they are the wussiest rolls ever. As biccies they don't even get onto the food chain. Where's the choccy bits and theh cream fillings? Jammy dodgers will be laughing their centres out if that's the only competition from the great satan. The shortbread is in hysterics and lost all the sugar coating, the bourbons have split in two. The hob nobs won't even get out of bed for that.
IS THAT IT?!?!?!?

I spent a year there and...ummm...welll...can't actually remember much about the bread. Didn't make much of an impression obviously.
